Influence of moderate cycling on scrotal temperature.

This study found that an hour of light cycling, at 25 watts in a temperature controlled room, barely moved scrotal temperature and did not warm it as the hour went on, and that the men were actually cooler on the bike than during the ten minutes they sat still beforehand. It measured no semen, so it is evidence about heat and not about fertility. Twenty-five watts is a gentle load and an hour is a short ride, so this says nothing about hard training or long distances. If you ride gently, heat is not the thing to worry about.
